The Magpul Zhukov-S folding stock for AK-47 and AK-74 rifles brings modern ergonomics and practical functionality to a platform that's long been hampered by outdated furniture. If you run an AK and want a stock that folds for storage, transport, or close-quarters work, collapses for length-of-pull adjustment, and doesn't require gunsmithing to install, the Zhukov-S is built to solve the problem. It's engineered from injection-molded polymer for durability without excess weight, and it ships ready to mount on most stamped AK receivers via Magpul's wedge-block system—no modification needed.

The Zhukov-S folds to the right side of the receiver, which means optics mounted on the side rail stay clear and accessible. That's a practical detail that matters if you're running a modern optics setup on a classic platform. You get five positions of length-of-pull adjustment, so you can dial in the fit whether you're shooting in shirtsleeves or heavy gear. The adjustment lever sits low and snag-free, the hinge pin is solid steel, and the lock mechanism is built stout—all the parts that actually break on cheaper stocks are engineered for real use.

The rubber butt-pad grips your shoulder and soaks up recoil rather than sliding on your jacket, and QD sling mounts are integrated so you can attach a quality sling without extra hardware. Magpul manufactures the Zhukov-S in the USA, and it qualifies as one US compliance part under 922(r) if you're building or importing a parts kit rifle.
