Magpul
The Magpul Hunter/SGA High Cheek Riser Kit 0.50"/0.75" is a modular comb-height solution designed for shooters running the Magpul SGA Stock on a Remington 870 or compatible shotgun. If your cheek weld feels off with optics or sights mounted on your shotgun, or if you're struggling to get your head in the right position behind your scope or red dot, this riser kit solves that problem with minimal fuss. The kit includes two polymer inserts that raise the comb 0.50" or 0.75" above the standard SGA comb, giving you the flexibility to dial in perfect sight picture and head position for your specific setup and mission.
Built from the same durable polymer Magpul uses throughout their AR stock line, these risers are engineered to handle hard use in the field. They snap into place on the SGA Stock comb with an integrated modular design—no permanent modifications to your shotgun, and swapping inserts takes seconds. Whether you're running a wing-and-clay gun with new glass, a patrol or home-defense shotgun with a mounted optic, or a hunting shotgun where cheek weld matters for accuracy, the Hunter/SGA riser kit eliminates the compromise of a stock comb that's too low for your setup.
The Flat Dark Earth finish matches the standard SGA aesthetic and blends with most tactical or hunting configurations. This is the high kit: if you need smaller increments (0.25" or 0.50" of rise), Magpul also offers a low-profile version. The modular approach means you can experiment with what works best for your eye relief and comfort without guessing.

The riser improves cheek weld and head position by raising the comb. Whether it solves your sight picture depends on your specific optic, mounting height, and eye relief requirements. The two insert options let you find the right height for your setup.
