The Magpul DAKA Takeout Bag is a compact, no-frills storage solution designed for shooters, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who needs reliable gear organization in a durable, weather-resistant package. At 6.25 inches tall, 4 inches wide, and 7.75 inches long, this 3.5-liter pouch rides light in your range bag, truck, boat, or pack without eating up real estate. Whether you're hauling fired brass, range supplies, tools, or camp gear, the Takeout's straightforward design and tough materials mean it'll survive the rough stuff without pretense.
Built from polymer-infused textiles with RF-welded seams that create permanent, impenetrable bonds, the DAKA Takeout shrugs off moisture and hard use. The anti-slip exterior keeps the bag secure in your hands even with wet or gloved fingers, and the YKK Aqua Guard water-repellent zipper seals out most wet environments—handy when you're working near water or in unpredictable weather. Two quick-release buckles serve double duty: crack them open to expand the pouch's mouth for oversized items, or use them as attachment points and handles for carry and hanging.
The 550 paracord cinch with heat shrink tubing gives you a grip that works in real conditions, and the flat dark earth finish blends into vehicle interiors and field kit without standing out. This isn't a glamorous bag—it's the kind of no-nonsense pouch that lives in the back of every truck because it works, lasts, and doesn't cost a fortune.

The DAKA Takeout works anywhere you need compact, durable storage. Shooters use it for range supplies and brass collection; outdoors folks pack it with camp tools or first-aid gear; truck owners throw it in the bed or behind the seat for vehicle organization. Its water-resistant construction makes it at home near water, and its anti-slip grip means it stays put even when wet or handled with gloves.
The YKK Aqua Guard zipper is water-repellent and designed to keep moisture out in typical wet conditions—rain, splashing, humid environments. It's not a dive-bag seal; in extended submersion or heavy sustained spray, some water may eventually find its way in. For most field use, range trips, and outdoor storage, it provides reliable protection.
Yes. The two quick-release buckles double as attachment points. Release one buckle, loop it around a carabiner, D-ring, or other fixed object, and reattach to hang or secure the pouch to your pack, vehicle, or kit.
The 3.5-liter capacity handles modest loads—ammunition, tools, first-aid supplies, range gear. The expandable opening created by the quick-release buckles lets you access and fit slightly larger items without stuffing.
