Magpul
The Magpul MAG1076-FDE Flat Dark Earth Synthetic Backpacker Stock for Ruger PC Carbine is purpose-built for hunters and outdoorsmen who need their rifle to pack down small without sacrificing shootability or speed of deployment. If you've ever struggled to fit a full-length carbine into a truck, pack, or tight camp space, this stock solves that problem with a clever takedown interface that lets you separate the barrel assembly from the receiver for efficient storage and transport. Magpul engineered this specifically for the Ruger PC Carbine platform, borrowing proven design principles to create a minimalist package that doesn't compromise on ergonomics or field practicality.
Built from Magpul's durable synthetic polymer, the PC Backpacker stocks an ergonomic hand guard with M-LOK slots at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions—giving you flexibility to mount lights, cameras, or other accessories where they actually belong. The stock comes fitted with an MOE SL rubber butt-pad that delivers both comfort and an anti-slip surface for secure shouldering, and it's designed to work with Magpul's optional MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad if you need an extra 3/8" of length of pull. The integrated QD cup mounting locations pair with Magpul's Sling Mount Kit (Type 1 or Type 2) so you can carry your PC Carbine assembled or broken down with equal ease.
Practical touches set this stock apart: a water-resistant grip storage compartment tucked into the hand guard is perfect for a small multi-tool, survival gear, or cleaning supplies, while a separate riser compartment holds a single pistol magazine (up to PMAG 21 GL9). Magpul also included interchangeable cheek risers to accommodate different sighting setups—whether you're running iron sights, a red dot, or a scope. The Flat Dark Earth color blends naturally in the field and coordinates with popular rifle builds. If backpacking, overlanding, or simply maximizing truck space matters to your hunting or shooting routine, this is the stock that makes the Ruger PC Carbine genuinely portable without any fuss.
