Magpul
The Magpul Daka Waterproof Window Pouch in Small is a genuine waterproof storage solution built for gear that absolutely cannot get wet—ammo, electronics, documents, maps, or anything else that needs to survive submersion, hard rain, or river crossings. Unlike standard pouches with water-resistant zippers, the Daka Waterproof uses laterally placed YKK zippers combined with RF welded construction to create a seal that keeps water out, period. It's the kind of pouch overlanders, backcountry hunters, and boat-based anglers reach for when conditions turn ugly.
The small size measures 6 x 9 inches externally with 0.45L of internal volume—just right for ammunition, batteries, a compass, cash, or a phone. The translucent window panel on one side lets you identify contents without opening up, and the beefy 550 paracord zipper pulls stay grippy even when your hands are soaked or gloved. Two large carabiner attachment points make it easy to clip to a pack, belt loop, boat, or kit—no fiddling with velcro or hunting for a place to stash it.
Magpul's polymer-infused material and that RF-welded seam construction aren't gimmicks; they're what separate actual waterproof from marketing speak. Whether you're paddling, wading, or just caught in a downpour miles from shelter, the Daka Waterproof keeps the essentials dry. It's built like gear meant to work, not just look tough.
