Magnum Research
The Magnum Research BFR .454 Casull revolver with Bisley grips is a serious handgun for hunters and shooters who need legendary stopping power in a hard-use wheelgun. This is a short-cylinder variant chambered in the potent .454 Casull round, delivering magnum-class ballistics in a 6-shot platform with a 6.5-inch barrel. Built from brushed stainless steel, the BFR is engineered to handle full-power loads without compromise—this is a working gun for remote hunting, wilderness carry, or the range when you want real knockdown authority.
The Bisley grip configuration is purpose-built for control during rapid fire and heavy recoil, making it easier to manage follow-up shots than traditional revolver frames. The gun ships with white polymer grips as standard, an LPA rear sight, and a scope mount, so you can set it up immediately for your preferred sighting method. The fixed front sight pairs with an adjustable rear, giving you flexibility for distance shooting or close-range work. At 3.8 pounds and 15 inches overall length, it balances weight and shootability for extended carry or hunting trips.
The .454 Casull cartridge is known for legendary penetration and energy delivery on large game—this BFR respects that heritage. The 3–4 pound trigger breaks cleanly for a revolver, and the stainless construction means you're not babying the finish or worrying about rust in the field. This is a revolver built for serious use, not safe queens.
