The Armscor Rock Island Armory 1911 magazine in .45 ACP is a factory-spec replacement designed to keep your 1911 fed and ready. If you run a standard-frame .45, this steel magazine delivers the reliability you expect from a purpose-built component—whether you're at the range, in competition, or carrying for defense. Built to Armscor tolerances, it functions as a no-nonsense alternative to worn mags or when you need a spare in the safe.

Constructed from steel with a blued finish, this magazine is engineered to the same standards as original Rock Island Armory production. That means consistent feeding, reliable spring function, and durability through thousands of rounds. The 10-round capacity suits most shooting situations and carries legally in most jurisdictions where .45 ACP pistols are common.

Serious 1911 shooters know that magazines are wear items—they take a beating in competition, get lost at the range, and wear out springs over time. Keeping spares on hand is smart practice. A factory mag from the actual manufacturer eliminates guesswork about fit and function; it'll lock into your Rock Island or any standard 1911 frame without the feeding hiccups that sometimes come with off-spec aftermarket options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this magazine work in my Rock Island Armory 1911?

Yes—this is the factory-spec magazine for Rock Island Armory 1911 pistols, built to their exact tolerances. It will function reliably in any standard 1911 frame chambered in .45 ACP.

Is 10 rounds the legal capacity everywhere?

Ten-round magazines are legal in most US jurisdictions, but magazine capacity laws vary by state and locality. Check your local regulations before purchasing.

What's the difference between this and a used or worn magazine?

A factory-new magazine ensures a fresh, reliable spring and consistent feed characteristics. Worn mags can develop weak springs and feeding issues. Spares keep your system running when primary mags wear out.
