AeroPrecision
The Aero Precision M5 Atlas S-One 12.7" handguard in Odessa Green Drab brings lightweight performance and rock-solid stability to your AR-308 build. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this M-Lok rail is engineered for shooters who refuse to compromise between weight savings and durability—whether you're running a precision rifle, hunting rig, or competition gun. The S-One line strips away unnecessary bulk while keeping the strength Aero is known for, making it an ideal choice for mid-range AR-308 platforms that demand reliable mounting without dragging down the gun.
What sets the Atlas S-One apart is Aero's proprietary ATLAS attachment system. Instead of the uneven clamping pressure that can distort other handguards, ATLAS uses two mirrored tapered locking nuts and a custom-engineered barrel nut to distribute pressure evenly across the rail during installation. A ratcheting detent locks everything into positive registration, so you get consistent, repeatable performance from the first shot. All hardware is included—you just need a standard armorer's wrench to get running.
At just 7.66 ounces for the handguard itself (plus 4.72 oz of mounting hardware), the S-One keeps your rifle nimble without feeling flimsy. The top rail is interrupted in the center to shave weight, and indexing grooves at 12 o'clock give your support hand a sure grip. Quick-disconnect sling sockets at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock mean you can rig it your way, and the 1.3" inside diameter clears low-profile gas blocks without interference. Made in America by Aero Precision, this is a handguard built to last and earn its place on a serious rifle.
