Lyman
The Lyman TAC Mat FDE is a tactical rifle shooting mat built for hunters, long-range shooters, and varmint hunters who spend hours prone on unforgiving ground. Whether you're glassing from a ridge, settling in for a distant shot, or running drills at the range, this mat isolates you from dirt, rocks, insects, wet grass, hot truck beds, and whatever else nature throws at your position. It rolls up compact for easy transport while delivering a large enough footprint to accommodate shooters of any height.
This is the basic FDE (Flat Dark Earth) model, built with 600D construction—durable enough for serious field use without the bulk of heavier-duty alternatives. A carry handle and shoulder strap make it pack light and move fast, and that shoulder strap doubles as a bipod stop so you can dial in a stable shooting platform on the fly. At 2 lbs, it won't slow you down on long hikes or backcountry ops.
Lyman's tactical shooting mats work as well at the bench as they do in the field. The FDE colorway blends into arid and semi-arid terrain, making it a natural choice for desert hunting or high-desert range days. If you're serious about rifle accuracy and comfort, a quality shooting mat isn't a luxury—it's part of your foundation.
