Luth-Ar
The Luth-Ar AR-15 A2 6.563″ carbine length handguard delivers classic mil-spec aesthetics and proven ergonomics for your AR platform rifle. This black handguard maintains the traditional A2 profile that's been the standard on military and civilian AR-15s for decades—a no-nonsense choice if you're building a classic carbine or refreshing an existing setup. Carbine length handguards work with carbine-length gas tubes, making them the right fit for shorter-barreled ARs and modern carbine-pattern builds where real estate is at a premium.
Luth-Ar's reproduction handguards are straightforward: they give you the form factor shooters know, without the premium price tag of ultra-lightweight or rail-heavy alternatives. If you're not looking to hang a dozen accessories or experiment with free-floating tube designs, a solid A2 handguard is a time-tested foundation. The 6.563″ dimension positions this as a true carbine-length piece, distinct from longer mid-length options, so confirm your gas tube length before ordering.
This is the kind of part that doesn't demand attention—it just lets you shoot. Whether you're assembling an upper from parts, replacing a damaged handguard, or building a straightforward field carbine, the Luth-Ar A2 carbine length keeps things simple and proven.

This is a carbine length handguard, so it's designed for AR-15 uppers with carbine-length gas tubes. If your build uses a mid-length, rifle-length, or other gas tube configuration, confirm compatibility before purchasing.
If your upper is a carbine-pattern AR-15 and you're simply replacing the handguard, this A2 piece will fit standard handguard attachment points. Always verify your upper's gas tube length matches carbine spec.
No—this is a traditional A2-style reproduction handguard with standard mil-spec profile and attachment method, not a precision-engineered free-floating tube.
