Lockdown
The Lockdown Universal 15" Green Trigger Lock with Key is a straightforward firearm safety device designed to render a gun inoperable without disassembly. Finished in high-visibility green, it's the kind of safety tool that works whether you're securing a rifle in a vehicle, locking down a handgun between range sessions, or meeting storage requirements at home. The 15-inch reinforced cable attaches through the trigger guard and can't be easily bypassed once in place—a real deterrent against accidental discharge or unauthorized handling.
This trigger lock operates independently of the gun itself, so there's no modification required and no need to strip anything down when you need quick access. The keyed padlock design gives you reliable, straightforward operation: lock it, store the keys, and you're done. It's the kind of gear that sits quietly in the background until you need it, then does exactly what you expect.
The package includes two keys, so you can keep one accessible and stash a backup where it won't get lost—smart planning if multiple people need access or if you want an emergency key in a separate location. For hunters, sport shooters, gun owners with kids at home, or anyone who wants a no-fuss way to secure a firearm between outings, this lock delivers straightforward safety without complexity.
| Brand | Lockdown |
| Model | 110149 |
| Cable Length | 15 inches |
| Lock Type | Keyed padlock |
| Keys Included | 2 |
| Color | Green |
| Universal Fit | Yes |
Yes. The universal design fits standard trigger guards on most rifles and handguns. The 15-inch cable gives you flexibility in how you route it through the guard.
Simply unlock the padlock with one of the two keys provided and remove the cable from the trigger guard. Unlocking takes seconds and requires no disassembly of the firearm.
The cable is reinforced to resist cutting, though no security device is completely cut-proof. The lock is designed as a practical theft and unauthorized-use deterrent, not as a bank-vault solution.
Store it in a separate, secure location—a different room, a safe, or with a trusted family member. If you lose the first key, you'll have a backup to access your firearm quickly instead of facing a locksmith call.
