Leupold
The Leupold 185337 is a one-piece scope base engineered for Weatherby 307 Long Action rifles, built with 20 MOA of elevation correction already baked in. This single-piece mounting solution is designed for shooters who plan to shoot at distance—the 20 MOA upward tilt extends your effective range by reducing the amount of turret rotation needed to reach far targets. If you're running a Weatherby 307 LA and setting up a rifle scope for long-range hunting or precision shooting, this base gets you halfway to a properly zeroed optic setup before you even mount your scope.
Leupold bases are known for solid engineering and tight tolerances. A one-piece design offers inherent rigidity that some prefer over two-piece alternatives, and it simplifies mounting by eliminating one potential variable. This is straightforward, no-frills hardware that handles the job and stays out of the way—exactly what you want from an optics mount.
The 20 MOA cant is the standout feature here. It's not for every rifle or every shooter, but if your rifle naturally shoots at distance or you're comfortable dialing turrets for elevation, this base removes some of that burden. Pair it with a compatible Leupold scope and you'll have a repeatable, durable setup that won't shift when you need it most.
| Brand | Leupold |
| Model | 185337 |
| Base Type | One-Piece |
| Rifle Compatibility | Weatherby 307 Long Action |
| Elevation Correction | 20 MOA |
Yes—the Leupold 185337 is engineered specifically for Weatherby 307 LA rifles. Verify your rifle's action length and model before purchasing to ensure compatibility.
The base is tilted up 20 minutes of angle (MOA) to give you more elevation adjustment range at distance. This is useful for long-range hunting or precision shooting where you'll dial significantly upward to compensate for bullet drop. It saves turret revolutions and keeps you in the usable adjustment range of your scope.
This is the base only. You'll also need a Leupold scope and rings compatible with Leupold bases to complete your optics setup.
