Legend Outdoor Gear
The Legend Phoenix Tac Rifle Case in 36" is a purpose-built soft rifle case designed to keep your carbines and sidearms organized and protected during transport or storage. Built from 600 denier polyester with a PVC laminate shell, this tactical rifle case balances durability with portability—it's tough enough for serious field use but light enough to carry without a second thought. Whether you're heading to the range, moving between hunting grounds, or setting up a mobile shooting setup, the Phoenix delivers the internal organization and external access you need.
Inside, you'll find a padded internal compartment configured to safely hold two carbine-length rifles, separated by a padded divider to prevent muzzle-to-stock contact. Up front, a handgun pocket with two dedicated pistol sleeves keeps a sidearm and backup accessible without rummaging through the rifle section. Four exterior magazine pouches—two on each side—hold up to two magazines per pouch, so you're never short of ammo capacity. A large accessory pouch rounds out storage, offering space for cleaning kits, spare parts, or range supplies.
Carrying is straightforward thanks to a padded adjustable shoulder strap with three mounting points for versatile carry or attachment options. Lockable zippers with oversized loop pulls give you peace of mind that your gear stays secure, while cinch straps with large buckles let you compress the case when it's not fully loaded. A front Velcro patch mount adds customization potential for ID, unit patches, or other identifiers. At 36" × 2.75" × 13", the Phoenix strikes a practical balance: long enough for modern carbines, slim enough to fit in a truck bed or storage locker.
This is a no-frills, function-first case built for hunters, shooters, and operators who need reliable transport for multiple firearms and quick access to essentials. If you're running two guns and want one bag that handles both rifles and a pistol, the Phoenix Tac is a solid choice.
| Dimensions | 36" L × 13" H × 2.75" W |

The Phoenix Tac is designed for carbine-length rifles and accommodates two of them in the padded internal compartment. At 36" long, it should work for most modern AR-15 carbines and similar platform rifles. If you're unsure about your specific firearm, measure your rifle's length and compare it to the case dimensions.
Yes. The case includes a dedicated external handgun pocket with two pistol sleeves, separate from the main rifle compartment, so you can transport both rifles and a sidearm in one bag. The magazine pouches provide additional capacity for both rifle and pistol magazines.
The padded adjustable shoulder strap with three mounting points gives you flexibility. You can sling it over one shoulder, carry it two-handed, or attach it to a pack or vehicle mount using the three attachment points.
The 600 denier polyester with PVC laminate construction provides durability and weather resistance. However, it is not a waterproof hard case. It will shed light rain and moisture, but for extended wet conditions or submersion, a hard case would be the better choice.
