The Lee Truncated Cone Pistol Mould is a double-cavity bullet casting tool designed for handloaders who want to produce consistent .452" diameter projectiles in the 230-grain weight class. Built from aluminum, this mould heats and cools rapidly—a critical advantage when you're casting rounds in volume. The material choice also means less fatigue on your arm during extended casting sessions, and aluminum naturally resists rust, so your investment stays functional for years.
This is a serious tool for serious reloaders. The crimped block halves work together to produce the roundest bullets possible and deliver tight, predictable size control shot after shot. That consistency translates directly to more uniform loads and better ballistic performance downrange. The tangential cutoff design eliminates the characteristic nip where the sprue plate separates from the finished bullet—one less finishing step between casting and loading.
Handles are included, so you're ready to get started without hunting down additional equipment. Whether you're casting for target work, practice, or duty rounds, this mould delivers the repeatability a serious reloader demands. Lee Precision moulds are built to last, and the aluminum construction means this tool will perform consistently whether you're casting fifty rounds or five hundred.
