Lee Precisiom
The Lee 90200 Shell Holder #16 is purpose-built for hand priming with the Lee Auto Prime system. If you're a handloader who prefers the control and simplicity of bench-top priming without a full reloading press, this shell holder is your foundation. It's sized specifically for cartridges in the #16 family and won't fit other priming equipment—it's designed exclusively to work with the Auto Prime tool, so you know compatibility is exact.
Hand priming appeals to many reloaders who want to keep a close eye on primer seating depth and consistency, or who simply prefer a lighter-duty setup for smaller volume work. The Auto Prime system has earned its place in countless reloading benches because it's straightforward and reliable. This shell holder is the critical link between your brass and that priming mechanism.
Lee Precision manufactures shell holders to tight tolerances so your cases sit securely during the priming stroke. If you already own an Auto Prime or are setting one up for the first time, verify that #16 is the correct size for your cartridge—Lee makes 20 different shell holder sizes across their lineup to cover the full spectrum of rifle and pistol cases. This focused approach means you're not overpaying for holders you'll never use.
