Lee Precisiom
The Lee Precision 90841 Factory Crimp Die for 7mm Express / .280 Remington is a carbide-sizer crimp die designed to finish your handloads with the precision and reliability of factory ammunition. After sizing your rifle cartridges, this die post-sizes and crimps in one step, ensuring every round chambers as smoothly as commercial ammo straight from the box. Whether you're loading for a classic .280 Remington or the 7mm Express, this tool takes the guesswork out of final case preparation and gives you confidence at the range or in the field.
The real advantage of a factory crimp die shows up downrange: inconsistent crimps lead to velocity variation and accuracy problems. This Lee die eliminates that variable by applying a uniform crimp to every round, regardless of bullet type. It handles a wide range of ammunition—jacketed bullets, bullets without a cannelure, and beyond—so you're not limited to one specific load or bullet style. Adjust the crimp screw to dial in the amount of crimp you need for your particular cartridge and powder charge.
If you're serious about reloading rifle ammunition and want finished rounds that feed reliably and perform consistently, a factory crimp die is no longer optional—it's essential equipment. The Lee 90841 brings that level of quality control to your press without the premium price tag of some competitors.
