Lee Precisiom
The Lee Precision mallet mold release is a purpose-built tool for handloaders who cast their own bullets. Unlike improvised mallets or hammers that can damage mold cavities or produce inconsistent results, this dedicated mallet is engineered specifically for the controlled, gentle tapping needed to safely eject cast bullets from Lee molds—and works with all bullet mold designs.
The mallet features a head and handle crafted from ash hardwood, the same dense, durable material used in professional baseball bat manufacturing. Ash offers the right balance of impact absorption and hardness: enough density to cleanly release bullets without excessive force, but forgiving enough to protect your molds and hands during repetitive work. The 10-inch length keeps weight centered and manageable, reducing fatigue during long casting sessions where precision and control matter.
Ergonomic shaping makes the mallet comfortable to grip and swing in the natural, casual motion that experienced casters use. Whether you're running a small batch or spending an afternoon at the casting bench, this tool fits naturally into the workflow and won't slow you down. It's a no-frills, hardworking accessory that does exactly what it's designed to do—cleanly and reliably, session after session.
