Lee Precisiom
The Lee Precision Ultimate 4-Die Set for .308 Winchester gives you a complete reloading solution built around four specialized dies, each designed to solve a specific part of the handload process. If you reload .308 Winchester brass and want flexibility—whether you're working with virgin brass, fired cases from your own rifle, or cartridges fired in other guns—this set covers all the scenarios a serious rifle reloader encounters. You get full-length resizing, neck sizing for accuracy, bullet seating that's repeatable, and crimp control, all in one package.
The full-length resizing die returns fired brass to factory dimensions, which is essential if you're pooling cases from multiple rifles or want a clean baseline for each reload. The collet neck-sizing die works on your fire-formed brass without requiring case lube—it grips the case neck in a collet rather than pushing the case into a die, which means less setup friction and longer case life. Lee's Easy Adjust Dead Length system on the bullet-seating die removes guesswork from seating depth; you dial in the length once and trust it holds consistent every time. The Factory Crimp die applies uniform pressure and a controlled crimp, which can improve accuracy by standardizing your ignition and bullet hold without needing a separate crimp tool.
Beyond the four dies, you get a shell holder sized for .308 Winchester, a powder measure calibrated to throw consistent charges, and Lee's famous load data organized by powder type—all the reference material a reloader needs to work safely and efficiently. This is a versatile kit that scales from shooters refining their first handloads to experienced reloaders who appreciate reliable, no-fuss die work.
| Caliber | .308 Winchester |
| Number of Dies | 4 |
| Set Components | Full-length sizer, collet neck sizer, Easy Adjust Dead Length bullet seating die, Factory Crimp die, shell holder, powder measure, load data |
| Brand | Lee Precision |
The set comes with four dies (full-length sizer, collet neck sizer, bullet seating die, and crimp die), a shell holder for .308 Winchester, a powder measure, and Lee's load data with powder charges for common powders.
Yes. The full-length resizing die returns brass to factory dimensions, making it safe and reliable to reload cases that were fired in other guns. Once full-length sized, the brass will chamber and function properly in your rifle.
No. The collet neck-sizing die grips the case neck without forcing the entire case into a die, so you don't need case lube. This reduces setup time and helps extend case life.
The Factory Crimp die applies a uniform, controlled crimp that can improve accuracy by standardizing bullet hold and ignition characteristics. Whether you see an accuracy gain depends on your rifle, loads, and ammunition, but consistent crimping is a foundation of precision handloading.
