Leapers
The Leapers True Hunter 7x32mm red/green dot scope is a compact, versatile optic built for hunters and shooters who need reliable magnification without bulk. The 7x magnification and 32mm objective deliver a practical balance of field of view and light gathering in a lightweight package—ideal for brush hunting, timber work, or precision shooting at moderate distances. The 1-inch tube fits standard Picatinny and Weaver mounts, and Leapers includes medium-height rings and protective flip-open lens caps right in the box.
The standout feature here is the red/green illuminated reticle with projectile drop compensation (PDC) marks. That means you get a useful aiming reference that adapts to your ammunition and distance—handy when you're shooting from different positions or hunting at varying yardage. The reticle brightness is user-adjustable, so you can dial in clarity whether you're in dim timber or bright afternoon sun. The eyepiece is adjustable and locks in place once you dial your eye relief to comfort, and Leapers specs up to 25 inches of eye relief, which gives you flexibility on gun type and mounting position.
Build quality reflects Leapers' True Strength platform: the scope is fully sealed and nitrogen-filled to stay fog-proof and rainproof in wet conditions. The turrets are screw-lockable and click in 1/4 MOA increments for windage and elevation, so once you zero, they won't drift from recoil or handling. Parallax is factory pre-set at 35 yards, eliminating parallax error for most field shots without fiddling with an external dial. The emerald-coated lens surfaces maximize light transmission for the sharpest possible image through 7x glass.
This is a straightforward, no-frills scope for hunters and range shooters who want durability, decent optics, and enough features to dial in distance without paying for overkill. If you hunt from a stand, stalk timber, or shoot from a rest at known yardage, the True Hunter delivers.

Yes. The up-to-25-inch eye relief is generous enough for handgun mounts. Just make sure your platform accepts 1-inch tube optics and standard Picatinny or Weaver rails. The included medium-height rings will help you achieve proper sight alignment depending on your gun's configuration.
Leapers includes medium-height Picatinny/Weaver rings and flip-open lens caps. You'll need a compatible rifle or handgun platform with a rail system; the rings handle the interface between the 1-inch tube and standard Picatinny or Weaver bases.
The illuminated reticle includes projectile drop compensation (PDC) marks that account for bullet drop at various ranges. The adjustable brightness lets you pick red or green depending on your target and light conditions—green typically works better against brown earth tones, red for better contrast in low light. The PDC marks help you aim more effectively beyond your zero distance without having to dial the turrets every time.
This is a short-to-mid-range hunting and general-purpose scope. The 7x magnification is moderate, and the 35-yard parallax setting makes it most accurate at typical hunting distances and closer. For precision target shooting at extended yardage or competition use, a higher-magnification scope with adjustable parallax would be a better choice.
