Leapers
The Leapers MTUAK01 quick-detachable AK side mount gives you a proven way to attach optics and accessories to AK-pattern rifles without permanent modification. Built from matte black anodized aluminum, this 6.69-inch mount clamps securely to the AK receiver's side rail—a standard feature on most modern AK builds—and locks in fast thanks to its quick-detach design. Whether you're running a red dot, magnified optic, or even secondary iron sights, this mount handles the job with the durability Leapers is known for.
The quick-detach mechanism means you can remove your optic or accessory in seconds and reinstall it in the same zero, a huge convenience for hunters switching between close-range and distance hunting, or shooters rotating gear between different guns. The aluminum construction keeps weight to a minimum while resisting corrosion—important if you're taking your AK into the field or on extended hunting trips.
If you've got an AK with a side rail and want to modernize your sight picture without welding or permanent gunsmithing, this mount is a straightforward, repeatable solution that works with a wide range of optics and accessories designed for Picatinny or Weaver mounting.
