Leapers, Inc. - UTG
The Leapers Inc. UTG BullDot Compact Green Laser Sight brings rapid target acquisition to pistols, rifles, and shotguns with a bright, fast-targeting green laser dot. Built on UTG's True Strength Platform with aircraft-grade aluminum construction, this compact laser sight pairs a wide-aperture dot with straightforward windage and elevation adjustment—ideal for shooters who need to place rounds fast in defensive, hunting, or range scenarios where split-second target placement matters.
Green laser light cuts through poor visibility better than red, and the BullDot's 12-inch dot at 100 yards opens up to roughly 8 inches at 50 yards, giving you a larger aiming reference for rapid fire or dynamic shooting. The included remote pressure switch lets you mount the sight on a rail and activate the laser from your grip or support hand, keeping your thumb free for manipulation. Adjustment range spans 31 minutes of angle at 100 yards, so you can dial in zero across a wide variety of shooting distances and mounting platforms.
This is a true working laser: FAA-compliant, CLASS 3R rated, and designed to handle the operating temperature swings from field use (50°F to 100°F). A single CR2 battery powers the laser for 2.5+ hours of continuous operation, with a 5,000-hour lifespan rated for the laser module itself. The low-profile Picatinny/Weaver deck mounts directly to any modern tactical rail, and the hard-coat anodized finish resists wear and corrosion.
Whether you're setting up a home-defense rifle, a duty pistol, or a precision shotgun for sport, the UTG BullDot delivers the speed and reliability you'd expect from a professional-grade sight at a sensible investment.
| Laser Type | Green (Class 3R) |
| Wavelength | 522–542 nm |
| Output Power | 2–4.5 mW |
| Beam Diameter | 12″ @ 100 yards (73–81°F) |
| Expanded Dot Size | ~8″ diameter @ 50 yards |
| Windage/Elevation Adjustment Range | 31 MOA @ 100 yards |
| Mount Type | Picatinny/Weaver Low-Profile Deck |
| Material | Aircraft-grade aluminum, hard-coat anodized finish |
| Battery | 1 × CR2 |
| Battery Runtime | 2.5+ hours continuous |
| Laser Module Life | 5,000 hours |
| Operating Temperature Range | 50°F to 100°F |
| Includes | Remote pressure switch |
The UTG BullDot uses a standard Picatinny/Weaver low-profile mounting deck, so it fits any modern rifle, pistol, or shotgun with a Picatinny or Weaver rail—AR-15s, AR-pattern pistols, Glocks with rail adapters, M-Lok or KeyMod systems with rail adapters, and most tactical shotguns. If your firearm doesn't have a rail, you'll need an aftermarket rail or mount first.
A single CR2 battery provides 2.5+ hours of continuous operation. The remote pressure switch allows you to leave the laser off until needed, which significantly extends battery life in the field since you're only activating it during shooting or target transitions.
Yes. The UTG BullDot is classified as CLASS 3R and is fully compliant with US FDA and international laser safety regulations, making it legal to own and operate in all 50 states. It meets the safety standards for consumer laser sights.
Green laser light (522–542 nm wavelength) is easier for the human eye to see in bright daylight and low-light conditions compared to red, making target acquisition faster—especially critical in dynamic or high-stress shooting scenarios where every millisecond counts.
