The Laserlyte Universal Laser Trainer is a dry-fire training tool designed to help you sharpen your fundamentals without leaving home. This sound-activated laser trainer inserts into your barrel and projects a visible laser dot on your target, giving you instant feedback on your trigger press, sight alignment, and shot placement. It's compatible with a wide range of handguns—from compact .380 ACP and 9mm carry guns to full-size .45 ACP pistols, and most snub-nose revolvers—making it a versatile addition to any shooter's training kit.

One of the biggest advantages of laser training is the ability to practice the fundamentals that matter most: grip, trigger control, and follow-through. Because the laser fires only when your trigger breaks, you get immediate visual feedback without ammunition costs or range trips. The tool-less barrel diameter adjustment means you can swap the trainer between guns in seconds, and the windage and elevation adjustments let you dial it in to match your actual sights each time you use it.

Whether you're working on draw speed, trigger press consistency, or target transitions, dry-fire training with the Laserlyte fills the gap between live-fire sessions. It's especially useful for shooters who want to maintain proficiency during off-season or bad-weather months, or anyone building solid shooting fundamentals from the ground up.

Frequently Asked Questions

What handguns work with the Laserlyte Universal Laser Trainer?

The trainer is compatible with most common handgun calibers including .380 ACP, 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP, as well as most snub-nose revolvers. Your barrel must be at least 1.85 inches long. The tool-less adjustment lets you fit it to different barrel diameters without additional tools.

How do I use it for dry-fire training?

The trainer is sound activated and inserts into your barrel. When you press the trigger, the laser fires and projects a dot on your target, letting you see exactly where your sight picture was at the moment of the break. This gives instant feedback on trigger control and sight alignment without ammunition.

Can I adjust it to match my actual sights?

Yes. The Laserlyte features windage and elevation adjustments so you can dial it in to match your gun's point of aim every time you use it.

Do I need ammunition to train with this?

No. The laser trainer works entirely dry-fire, so you can practice fundamentals at home without ammunition costs or range fees.
