The Lantac M-SPEC Nickel Boron bolt carrier group for .223/5.56 NATO delivers reliable performance without breaking the bank. Built to military specification dimensions and tolerances, this 5.56/.223 BCG combines proven mil-standard engineering with a few smart upgrades that push it beyond basic spec—all at a price that makes sense for shooters who want quality without the premium tag. Whether you're building or upgrading an AR, this is the kind of component that works hard and doesn't demand attention.

The carrier itself is full-auto profile steel with extra mass for reliability, machined from 8620 steel and case hardened to spec. But here's where Lantac separates this from run-of-the-mill mil-spec: instead of standard Type M phosphate finish, the BCG gets a Nickel Boron (NiB) coating. That means better corrosion resistance, smoother operation, easier cleanup, and genuine performance gains in the field. The bolt is machined from either Carpenter 158 or 9310 steel, shot peened and finished per military spec for durability you can trust.

The real detail work shows up in the cam pin: Lantac includes their CP-R360 domed head cam pin, precision-machined from 17-4PH stainless steel, hand polished, and hardened to H900 condition. That's the kind of attention that reduces friction and wear over thousands of rounds. It's a full-featured BCG that fits any mil-spec upper receiver and plays well with standard parts—no surprises, no compatibility headaches.
