Lantac
The Lantac 11.5" 300 Blackout barrel is a short-barreled rifle (SBR) solution built for shooters who want serious accuracy without the length. This 300 Blackout barrel pairs a compact 11.5-inch profile with a pistol-length gas system, making it an excellent choice for short-range precision, suppressed shooting, and tactical builds where maneuverability matters. Lantac's reputation for meticulous barrel manufacturing—each one individually matched to its extension and head-spaced against a master bolt—translates to the kind of consistency that separates reliable uppers from shooters' uppers.
Built from certified 416R stainless steel, this barrel is precision gun-drilled, double-reamed, and honed before rifling. The progressive button rifling system cuts six grooves in a 1:7 twist, a rate optimized for 300 Blackout's range of bullet weights—from subsonic 220-grain loads to supersonic 110-grain rounds. That twist rate and Lantac's attention to chamber and extension fitment mean you're starting with a barrel that's engineered to shoot, not just assemble.
The extended M4 feed ramps ensure smooth feeding regardless of your upper receiver, and the pistol-length gas system keeps the action responsive without over-gassing. Made in the USA, this is a component for builders who understand that a quality barrel is the foundation of a quality rifle. Whether you're assembling a short-range hunting rig, a suppressed workhorse, or a precision 300 Blackout build, Lantac's engineering gives you a head start.
| Caliber | 300 Blackout |
| Barrel Length | 11.5 inches |
| Material | Certified 416R Stainless Steel |
| Twist Rate | 1:7 |
| Rifling | 6-Groove Progressive Button |
| Gas System | Pistol Length |
| Feed Ramps | Extended M4 |
| Origin | Made in the USA |
The 1:7 twist is ideal for 300 Blackout across its full spectrum—it stabilizes subsonic loads (typically 208–220 grain) and supersonic rounds (110–147 grain) effectively. This versatility makes it a sensible choice if you plan to shoot a mix of ammunition or run a suppressor with subsonic rounds.
Yes. The extended M4 feed ramps are compatible with most AR-pattern uppers. The barrel extension is individually matched during manufacturing, ensuring proper headspace. Confirm your upper receiver is 300 Blackout-compatible and in good condition before assembly.
This is a barrel only. You will need a compatible upper receiver, bolt carrier group, gas tube, and other components to complete a functioning upper assembly.
Pistol-length gas tuning is shorter than midlength or rifle-length systems, resulting in a quicker return to battery. This typically produces a snappier recoil impulse and is common in short-barreled rifles like this 11.5-inch platform.
