L.E. Wilson
The L.E. Wilson Bushing Type Full Length Sizing Die for 7mm Rem Mag is a precision reloading die built for handloaders who want tight control over neck tension without sacrificing case body consistency. This full length bushing die combines the neck-sizing precision Wilson is known for with the broader case-forming benefits of full length sizing, letting you dial in exactly how much grip your brass exerts on the bullet. It's the choice for shooters pursuing accuracy without compromise, whether you're working up loads for a precision rifle or maintaining a consistent custom load over multiple reloads.
Wilson's design leaves the bottom 3/16" of the case neck unsized—a technique preferred by many serious handloaders for its balance between consistency and brass longevity. The die is machined from high-quality, heat-treated steel hardened beyond Grade 8 specifications, built to Wilson's own exacting standards for durability and repeatability. An adjustable depth decapping rod and extra decapping punch are included; the lock nut features stainless parts for corrosion resistance and a long service life.
This die accepts interchangeable neck bushings (sold separately), giving you the flexibility to fine-tune neck tension for different bullet diameters and materials. L.E. Wilson neck bushings fit standard, as do Redding bushings. The die is sized for 7/8" standard reloading presses, making it compatible with most common single-stage and turret equipment. No expander is included—the bushing itself controls case neck diameter and tension.
| Cartridge | 7mm Rem Mag |
| Die Type | Full Length Bushing Sizing Die |
| Press Compatibility | Standard 7/8" reloading press |
| Material | High-quality heat-treated steel |
| Neck Sizing Design | Bottom 3/16" of case neck left unsized |
| Bushing Compatibility | L.E. Wilson and Redding neck bushings (sold separately) |

| Lock Nut Specs | .225" inside-to-edge thickness, .270" height, 1.250" OD width |
L.E. Wilson neck bushings are designed for this die and sold separately. Redding bushings will also fit. The bushing controls your neck tension, so you'll want to select one matched to your bullet diameter and desired grip.
This die is threaded for standard 7/8" reloading press connections, which covers most single-stage and turret presses used for rifle reloading. Verify your press uses 7/8" threads before purchase.
No. The die body is included, along with the adjustable decapping rod and an extra decapping punch, but neck bushings are sold separately. You'll need to select a bushing matched to your bullet diameter.
This design practice, which L.E. Wilson specializes in, provides a balance between consistent neck tension and brass life. Many precision handloaders find this approach delivers better accuracy and allows cases to be reloaded more times before becoming unsafe.
