L.E. Wilson
The L.E. Wilson Bushing Type Full Length Sizing Die for 6.5 Creedmoor is built for reloaders who want precision control over neck tension without sizing the entire case neck. Unlike dies that work the full neck, this full-length bushing die leaves the bottom 3/16" of the case neck unsized—a method many precision shooters prefer for improved accuracy and case longevity. The interchangeable bushing system lets you dial in your exact neck tension by swapping bushings (sold separately), making it a versatile solution whether you're loading for competition, hunting, or long-range shooting.
L.E. Wilson's bushing-type dies are engineered from heat-treated steel hardened to Wilson specifications—harder than Grade 8 bolts—so they'll hold tolerances shot after shot. The die includes an adjustable depth decapping rod and an extra decapping punch, giving you flexibility in how you manage primer removal. Stainless steel components resist corrosion, and the included Wilson lock nut (.225" thick, .270" tall, 1.250" OD) ensures rock-solid positioning in your press. This is a full-length sizing die, so it sizes the shoulder and body dimensions while the bushing controls neck tension independently.
The die fits standard 7/8" reloading presses and works without an expander—the bushing itself manages neck preparation. Wilson recommends using L.E. Wilson neck bushings for optimal performance, though Redding bushings will also fit. If you're stepping up from standard full-length dies or neck-only dies and want the best of both worlds, this is the middle ground that many serious reloaders choose.

This bushing-type die lets you control neck tension independently via interchangeable bushings while still sizing the shoulder and body. It also leaves the bottom 3/16" of the case neck unsized, a feature many precision shooters prefer over sizing the entire neck. That combination gives you flexibility that standard dies don't offer.
Yes, neck bushings are sold separately. L.E. Wilson bushings are recommended, but Redding bushings will also fit this die. The bushing you choose determines your final neck tension, so having a few on hand lets you fine-tune your loads.
This die is designed for standard 7/8" reloading presses, which covers the vast majority of single-stage and progressive loaders on the market.
The die includes an adjustable depth decapping rod, a spare decapping punch, and an L.E. Wilson lock nut. Neck bushings are not included and must be purchased separately.
