Kynshot
The Kynshot RB5022 recoil buffer is a hydraulic dampening system designed to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise on semi-automatic shotguns. Built from stainless steel, this recoil buffer fits the Rock Island Armory VR80 platform and integrates into the shotgun's stock and buffer tube assembly. If you're running a modern tactical shotgun or competing in 3-gun and speed-shooting events, managing recoil impulse matters—it keeps your sight picture steady, speeds up follow-up shots, and eases the punishment of extended shooting sessions.
Hydraulic recoil buffers work by absorbing and dissipating the energy that would otherwise transfer directly to your shoulder and wrist. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion and maintains consistent performance in wet field conditions. Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable working with shotgun stocks and tube assemblies.
Whether you're hunting waterfowl with heavy magnum loads, running clay courses, or training with slugs, a quality recoil buffer extends your shooting day and improves accuracy by keeping the gun stable during the firing cycle. The RB5022 is purpose-built for the VR80's design, so fitment and function are engineered from the ground up.
| Brand | Kynshot |
| Model | RB5022 |
| Type | Hydraulic Recoil Buffer |
| Material | Stainless Steel |
| Finish | Silver |
| Fits | Rock Island Armory VR80 |
Yes, the RB5022 is engineered for VR80 shotguns and integrates into the stock and buffer tube assembly on that platform.
A hydraulic recoil buffer absorbs and slows the rearward energy produced by firing, reducing felt recoil and muzzle rise. This keeps your sight picture steadier, allows faster follow-up shots, and reduces shoulder fatigue during extended shooting.
Stainless steel resists rust and corrosion, which is important for a part that sits inside the stock. It ensures reliable, consistent performance over time, especially if you hunt in wet or harsh conditions.
