Crickett
The Crickett KSA Walnut Blued .22LR left-handed bolt action rifle is a purpose-built single-shot .22 designed for young shooters and beginners learning rifle fundamentals. Built in the USA for over two decades, this left-handed rifle delivers reliable, straightforward operation in a compact, lightweight platform that doesn't overwhelm smaller frames or new shooters building confidence at the range.
Left-handed shooters often struggle to find youth rifles that actually fit their needs—this Crickett addresses that gap directly. The walnut furniture and blued steel barrel deliver a classic, purposeful aesthetic that appeals to kids and their mentors alike. At under 3 pounds and with an 11.5-inch length of pull, it's proportioned for younger hands and shoulders, making it genuinely comfortable to shoot rather than a compromise. The single-shot design enforces deliberate, focused trigger time—each round counts, building good habits from day one.
Safety is built in: a rebounding firing pin stays automatically blocked until the trigger is pressed, eliminating the risk of accidental discharge. The adjustable rear peep sight and fixed front post pair with the 16.1-inch blued barrel to encourage proper sight picture and trigger control without introducing complexity. Whether your young shooter is preparing for a hunter safety course, competing in 4-H or youth rifle leagues, or simply learning on a rifle that respects their stature and handedness, the Crickett left-handed .22 is a no-nonsense choice.
This is a rifle built to last: Crickett backs it with a lifetime warranty, and the straightforward bolt action design means there's little to break or fuss over. For left-handed youth shooters, finding a properly configured rifle is often a hunt—this one removes that frustration from the equation.
