Crickett
The Crickett KSA Black Synthetic .22LR "My First Rifle" Stainless Steel Package is purpose-built for young shooters and anyone new to firearms. This single-shot .22LR rifle combines a proven safety design, manageable size, and reliable performance in a package that introduces proper shooting fundamentals without overwhelming complexity. The stainless steel barrel resists corrosion, making it a solid choice for shooters who'll take it afield or to the range regularly.
What sets this Generation 2 Crickett apart is the EZ Loader—a feature that simplifies ammunition loading for smaller hands and builds confidence during the learning process. The rifle ships with swivel studs pre-installed, so you can add a sling immediately if you choose. The adjustable rear peep sight and fixed front post deliver straightforward aiming suitable for target practice and small-game hunting at typical youth-rifle distances. Safety is built in: a rebounding firing pin design automatically blocks the hammer to prevent accidental discharge, a critical feature when teaching new shooters.
Weighing under 3 pounds with an 11.5-inch length of pull and 30-inch overall length, the rifle fits young and smaller-framed shooters comfortably without sacrificing stability. The 16.1-inch stainless barrel comes rifled 1:16, optimized for .22LR ballistics. This is a no-frills, single-shot platform—perfect for teaching one-shot discipline and marksmanship fundamentals before advancing to semi-automatic or higher-capacity rifles.
Whether you're introducing a child to shooting sports, setting up a reliable trainer rifle for yourself, or stocking a .22LR for plinking and small-game work, the Crickett My First Rifle delivers honest performance and safety in a package that won't intimidate a new shooter.
