Kleen-Bore
The Kleen-Bore Cotton Bore Mop for .44/.45 caliber handguns is a straightforward, no-frills cleaning tool built for serious shooters who maintain their own firearms. Whether you're running solvent through a fouled bore or applying a fresh coat of lubricant after a deep clean, this mop absorbs and holds cleaning solutions reliably. It's the kind of simple, effective accessory that serious handgun shooters keep in their cleaning kit—no gimmicks, just 100% cotton construction that does the job.
These mops thread onto standard #8-32 rod adapters, so they integrate seamlessly into any modern gun cleaning rod setup. The cotton construction soaks up solvent and oils without leaving lint or residue behind, making them practical for both routine maintenance and full strip-and-clean sessions. For shooters who fire .44 Magnum or .45 ACP regularly, having a dedicated bore mop means faster, more efficient cleaning when you get back from the range or field.
Made in the USA, this is the kind of reliable, unglamorous gear that works the same way today as it did decades ago. If you're tired of jury-rigging patches or waiting for makeshift swabs to do the job, a proper bore mop is a small investment that cuts cleaning time and improves results.
