The Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett .22 LR in Muddy Girl hydrodipped synthetic is a purpose-built rimfire rifle for young shooters, new hunters, and anyone serious about learning proper rifle fundamentals. Built on a manually cocking single-shot bolt action, this .22 LR rifle strips away distractions and teaches disciplined trigger control, breath management, and sight picture—the core skills that carry forward to any centerfire platform. The synthetic stock with Muddy Girl hydro-dip finish is durable and low-maintenance, standing up to field use without the upkeep required by wood.

At just 3 pounds and 30 inches overall length with an 11.5-inch length of pull, the Crickett scales appropriately for smaller-framed shooters while remaining manageable for adults at the bench or afield. The 16.125-inch barrel pairs with adjustable rear peep and fixed front sights to deliver practical accuracy out to typical .22 LR ranges. The single-shot design enforces deliberate shot discipline—you'll think before you pull the trigger, and that mindset builds better shooters. A rebounding firing pin safety automatically blocks the pin to prevent accidental discharge, and the trigger breaks clean at approximately 2.5 to 3 pounds.

The Crickett accepts .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 LR ammunition—standard or high velocity—giving you flexibility in load selection for different purposes and shooting conditions. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Crickett scope mounts, so optics can be mounted if peep sights don't suit your needs or shooting distance demands magnification. Whether you're introducing a young hunter to centerfire rifle concepts or building your own marksmanship foundation from the ground up, this rimfire delivers genuine utility in a no-fuss package.
