Kershaw
The Kershaw RANDOM LEEK folding knife brings purposeful design to everyday carry. This assisted-opening folder features a distinctive reverse tanto blade—a geometry that's less common in production knives but proves its worth in real-world cutting. The 3-inch blade strikes the practical middle ground: substantial enough to handle serious tasks, compact enough to live in a pocket without bulk. Whether you're breaking down boxes, processing game in the field, or tackling camp chores, the reverse tanto's geometry and Sandvik 14C28N steel give you an edge (literally) that handles everyday work with confidence.
Built entirely from stainless steel with a slim, comfortable handle, the Random Leek deploys via Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted mechanism—one-handed opening with a solid flipper. The frame lock locks up tight and won't rattle. The reversible pocket clip lets you carry tip-up or tip-down, right or left hand, so you can set it up to match your preference and wardrobe. Ken Onion's design philosophy shines here: no unnecessary complexity, just a knife that does its job without apology and feels natural in your hand.
This is the kind of knife that works equally well clipped to a work shirt at the job site, in a desk drawer, or riding your belt during a backcountry hunt or camping trip. Plain edge holds its bite longer between sharpenings and is easier to maintain in the field. Made in the USA, the Random Leek is a solid everyday folder that earns its place in your EDC rotation.
| Blade Length | 3 inches |
| Blade Steel | Sandvik 14C28N |

A reverse tanto has the spine curve near the tip instead of at the base—it's a less common geometry that adds durability and provides a sharp, efficient angle for slicing and everyday cutting tasks like breaking down boxes.
Yes. The slim profile makes it easy to carry, the 3-inch blade is capable for camp tasks, and the plain edge is straightforward to maintain in the field. It's equally at home in a backpack or clipped to your belt.
Kershaw's SpeedSafe is a proven assisted-opening system that deploys with a one-handed flipper. The frame lock engages solidly and won't rattle during carry or use.
