Kershaw
The Kershaw PT-2 3.25" fixed blade knife is a compact, no-nonsense tool built for hunters, field workers, and anyone who needs a reliable blade within arm's reach. With a 3.25-inch blade and a textured glass-filled nylon handle, this fixed knife delivers the durability and grip security you want in a working blade—without the size and weight of a full-size hunting knife. The PT-2 is at home in a camp kitchen, on a utility belt, or as a dependable backup blade for backcountry trips and overlanding adventures.
Kershaw's PT-2 uses 3CR13 steel with a bead-blasted finish, which resists corrosion and gives the blade a professional, understated appearance. The textured handle ensures positive control even when your hands are wet or gloved, and the fixed blade design means zero moving parts to fail or maintain. Unlike folding knives, a fixed blade is instantly ready and won't accidentally close during hard use—a genuine safety advantage when you're field dressing, camp cooking, or working in the backcountry.
This is a straightforward tool knife, not a showpiece. It's sized and weighted for practical work, and the black handle is tough enough for daily carry or storage in a pack or truck. If you prefer a compact, proven blade that works as hard as you do, the PT-2 earns its place in your gear rotation.

The PT-2 has a 3.25-inch blade, which works well for field tasks, camp cooking, and general hunting chores. It's not a dedicated boning or butchering knife, but it's nimble enough for processing small game, detail work, and everyday camp use.
Yes. The textured glass-filled nylon handle is designed to provide a secure grip even when your hands are wet or you're wearing gloves—essential for field and outdoor use.
The blade is made from 3CR13 stainless steel with a bead-blasted finish, which offers good corrosion resistance. Stainless steel is lower-maintenance than carbon steel, though no steel is truly rust-proof; rinse and dry after use in wet conditions.
The PT-2 is a fixed blade—the blade is permanently attached to the handle. There are no moving parts, which means it's instantly ready to use and there's nothing to fail or maintain during field work.
