KEL-TEC
The Kel-Tec Sub-2000 9mm carbine is a compact, semi-automatic rifle built around a simple premise: maximum versatility in minimum space. With a 16-inch barrel and a folding design that collapses to just over 16 inches, this Glock-compatible carbine is purpose-built for hunters, sport shooters, and anyone who needs a powerful, packable rifle. At 4.2 pounds unloaded, it's light enough for backcountry trips, truck racks, and tight storage scenarios without sacrificing the ballistics and ergonomics of a rifle-length platform.
What makes the Sub-2000 stand out is its magazine ecosystem: it accepts Glock 19 and Glock 17 magazines, so if you're already running a Glock 19 or 17 for duty or carry, your carbine feeds from the same 15-round magazines. That commonality streamlines logistics and training. The rifle breaks down for cleaning and maintenance with no tools required—a practical design choice that reflects Kel-Tec's focus on user convenience. The blued and tan finish is durable and straightforward, designed to handle field use without fussy maintenance.
The Sub-2000 bridges the gap between a handgun and a full-size rifle: you get rifle velocity and accuracy from a 9mm round, but in a package that fits where a traditional carbine won't. Whether you're planning a backcountry hunt, setting up a truck gun, or want a reliable 9mm rifle for range days, this Kel-Tec delivers practical performance at a weight and size that matter in the real world.
