KEL-TEC
The Kel-Tec P3AT is a .380 Auto pocket pistol purpose-built for everyday carry. With an unloaded weight of just 9.66 ounces, this compact single-stack design rides deep in a pocket or waistband without printing or fatigue. The 2.85-inch barrel keeps overall length to 5.58 inches—short enough to tuck away, long enough to manage in hand. If you're looking for a lightweight, no-fuss concealed carry option that doesn't demand deep commitment to training or reholstering discipline, the P3AT delivers straightforward reliability in a footprint that actually fits your daily life.
The P3AT chambered in .380 Auto occupies a proven sweet spot in the CCW world: more shootable than a .25, more discrete than a 9mm, and economical enough that practice isn't a financial hardship. The 13-round magazine capacity (13+1 with one in the chamber) gives you reasonable onboard ammunition, and the magazine is available in a 10-round variant if local law requires it. At 4.5 pounds of trigger pull, the action is manageable without being hair-trigger. The profile is simple—no manual safety, no decocker, just point and press.
Construction is typical Kel-Tec: aluminum frame, steel slide, and a rifled barrel (1:10 twist) that favors common .380 loads. At its widest point the gun measures 0.944 inches, and the grip height is 4.38 inches (3.93 inches to the top of the slide). This is genuine pocket-gun geometry. Loaded weight sits at 14.24 ounces—light enough that you won't think twice about carrying it all day.
The P3AT isn't a bedside tack driver or a range toy; it's a purpose-driven carry gun that prioritizes discretion and simplicity over modularity or features. If your carry priorities are weight, concealability, and a straightforward manual of arms, the tan finish P3AT is a sensible choice.
