Kinetic Development Group
The Kinetic Development Group FN SCAR Brace (KDG SCP5-Mk2-204) is a purpose-built folding brace for the FN SCAR 15P platform, engineered to deliver the strength, adjustability, and compact handling serious operators demand. Developed through a collaboration between Kinetic Development Group, Haga Defense, and A3 Industries, this FN SCAR brace combines heavy-duty steel construction with all-metal internals to create a system that locks down tight and stays there—whether deployed or folded for transport and storage. If you run a SCAR and want genuine modular ergonomics without compromise, this is the brace built for your rifle.
The heart of the design is a nitride-coated 17-4 stainless steel hinge that folds to the left side at a 3.5-degree cant for optimal clearance. All critical components—from the aluminum cheek riser button and adjustment latch to the extruded aluminum spine—are metal, not plastic, ensuring durability through hard use. The brace adjusts in seven 0.5-inch increments to fine-tune length of pull, while the cheek riser offers three positions (flat, +0.25 inch, and +0.50 inch) to dial in your cheek weld. Both adjustments operate one-handed, so you can dial it in on the fly without tools or fumbling.
Available in FDE (Flat Dark Earth) and finished in the USA, the KDG FN SCAR Brace includes a sling loop and two steel QD mounting points at the rear for your preferred attachment method. The FDE finish in this configuration pairs rugged functionality with a cohesive aesthetic that complements modern rifle setups. This is a folding stock replacement designed to give your SCAR better ergonomics, faster transitions between transport and deployment, and the kind of fit and finish that respects both the platform and the operator using it.
