Kahr Arms
The Kahr CM9 9mm pistol is a slim, lightweight concealed-carry semi-auto that proves you don't have to sacrifice features or reliability to get real value. Built on the same footprint as Kahr's higher-end PM9 but engineered for the working shooter's budget, this 3-inch barrel compact packs drift-adjustable combat sights, a smooth double-action-only trigger, and proven Kahr engineering into a gun that weighs just 14 ounces unloaded. Whether you're a licensed civilian carrier looking for everyday carry or law enforcement needing a backup piece, the CM9 delivers genuine performance without the premium price tag.
At just 0.9 inches wide and 5.42 inches overall, the CM9 is purpose-built for the concealed-carry role. The matte stainless steel slide rides on a black polymer frame that's reinforced with molded 4140 steel inserts front and back—a Kahr patent that gives you rigidity and strength to handle thousands of rounds. The trigger system employs another Kahr innovation: a patented cocking cam that manages the firing pin block safety and delivers an exceptionally smooth, fast trigger break when you need it. That trigger, combined with a low-bore-axis design that positions your hand higher on the grip, means less felt recoil and faster, more controllable follow-up shots.
Tactically, the CM9 includes white bar-dot combat sights that are drift-adjustable in the rear, a pinned polymer front sight, and a slide that locks back after the last round—fundamentals that should be standard but aren't always on budget compacts. The gun ships with one 6-round stainless steel magazine featuring a flush baseplate, USA-made plasma welding, and Wolff springs. The all-metal magazine catch won't wear out even with extended carry use. It's Kahr's philosophy in a nutshell: real features, real accuracy, real reliability, no compromise.

Absolutely. The CM9 has the same external dimensions as Kahr's PM series and is specifically designed for concealed carry by licensed civilians and law enforcement. At 0.9 inches wide, 5.42 inches long, and 14 ounces, it fits inside-the-waistband rigs and pocket carry setups without printing. The slim profile and light weight make it practical for all-day wear.
Both share the same compact footprint and basic design. The CM9 uses a conventional rifled barrel instead of the PM's match-grade polygonal barrel. The CM9's slide stop is MIM (metal-injection-molded) versus machined on the PM, and the slide has simpler roll markings rather than engraved markings. The CM series also ships with one magazine instead of two. These are manufacturing efficiencies that keep the price lower while maintaining the same essential function and reliability.
The CM9 ships with one 6-round stainless steel magazine featuring a flush baseplate, USA-made plasma welding, and Wolff springs.
Yes. The CM9 includes a slide stop lever that locks the slide open after the final round is fired—a feature some lower-cost compact semi-autos omit.
