The Ka-Bar 7503 Jarosz Turok fixed blade knife brings American craftsmanship to your pack, camp, or field kit. Designed by Jesse Jarosz and built by Ka-Bar—a name synonymous with tough, reliable steel—this 6.25-inch blade cuts, slices, and processes with the kind of honest performance you expect from a working knife. Whether you're processing game, preparing camp meals, or tackling general outdoor tasks, the Turok earns its place as a dependable companion.

The blade is ground flat from 1095 Cro-Van steel, a proven high-carbon alloy that holds a sharp edge and resists corrosion in field conditions. At 56–58 Rockwell hardness, it strikes the balance between edge retention and ease of field sharpening. The clip-point profile—classic and versatile—handles everything from detail work to heavier cutting jobs. A 0.188-inch blade thickness and 1.563-inch width give you enough steel to work without unnecessary bulk.

The handle is brown Ultramid (a tough, glass-filled polymer), designed for secure grip in wet or gloved conditions. At 11.5 inches overall and 0.8 pounds, the Turok won't fatigue your hand or weigh down your gear. Ka-Bar backs this knife with a sheath—built to the same American standard as the blade—so it's ready to carry out of the box.

This is a working knife for people who work. No hype, no gimmicks—just a fixed blade that does the job, built in the USA by makers who understand what outdoors people actually need.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included with the Jarosz Turok?

The knife comes with a molded plastic (Celcon) sheath, so you're ready to carry it right out of the box—no need to source a separate holster.

Is this a good fixed blade for hunting and field processing?

Yes. The 6.25-inch clip-point blade and flat grind are well-suited to game processing, camp cutting, and general outdoor work. The 1095 Cro-Van steel holds an edge reliably and can be field-sharpened if needed.

How hard is the blade steel, and can I sharpen it myself?

The blade is heat-treated to 56–58 Rockwell hardness, a moderate hardness that resists chipping while remaining accessible to standard field sharpening tools. You won't need specialized equipment to maintain it.

Will this knife handle wet conditions and corrosive environments?

1095 Cro-Van is a high-carbon steel with corrosion-resistant properties, but like all carbon steel, it will benefit from regular drying and light oiling if exposed to extended moisture or salt conditions.
