Hunters Specialties
The Hunters Specialties black elastic buttstock shell holder is a simple, practical way to carry backup ammunition right on your rifle. It wraps around the stock of most rifles with its elastic loop design, giving you quick access to nine cartridges without fumbling through a pack or pocket. Whether you're hunting, practicing at the range, or working through a long day afield, having extra rounds secured to your gun beats digging through a bag when you need them fast.
This is the kind of accessory that stays out of your way until you need it—no straps to adjust mid-hunt, no complicated mounting. The elastic stretches to fit your buttstock and holds rounds securely in place. It's a no-nonsense solution that's been proven in the field and works with standard rifle cartridges.
Hunters Specialties has built a reputation on practical hunting gear that works without pretension. This holder exemplifies that philosophy: straightforward function, affordable, and reliable enough to trust when it matters.

| Design | Elastic buttstock loop holder |
The elastic loop design is intended to fit standard rifle buttstocks. It stretches to accommodate most rifle stocks, but fit can vary depending on buttstock diameter and shape. We recommend checking the diameter of your rifle's buttstock if you have an unusually thin or thick stock.
Yes. The holder accommodates standard rifle cartridges and will work with various calibers, provided the rounds fit within the elastic loops. Unusual magnum or specialty cartridge diameters may not fit as securely.
The elastic loops hold rounds in place for typical field use and walking. However, rapid movement or heavy jostling may cause occasional rounds to shift slightly. It's designed for practical access rather than extreme retention.
