Hornady
Lever gun hunters looking for a lead-free option that won't sacrifice performance now have a legitimate choice with the Hornady MonoFlex 45-70 Gov 250 grain bullets. Built from a proprietary copper alloy rather than pure copper, MonoFlex bullets deliver the accuracy and reliability you need for mid-range to longer-distance hunting with classic lever actions. The alloy construction is harder and tougher than solid copper, which means no pressure spikes, no bore fouling, and consistent ballistics across your ammunition.
The Flex Tip design is where MonoFlex earns its name. That patented flex polymer tip initiates expansion reliably even at the modest velocities typical of 45-70 Gov hunting loads, making it genuinely useful beyond the close-range stereotype many hunters associate with the cartridge. Once it opens up, the bullet penetrates deep and retains approximately 95% of its original weight—essential performance for reliable, ethical kills on game.
Each box contains 50 bullets sized and ready for your reloading press. Whether you're handloading for a Marlin, Winchester, or Browning lever gun, MonoFlex gives you a modern, environmentally responsible bullet that doesn't compromise on downrange terminal performance or bore life.
