Hornady
The Hornady Match Grade Die Set with Click-Adjust Micrometer for 6mm GT is built for reloaders who demand consistency and precision at every stage of the handloading process. This set combines Hornady's proven Match Grade die technology with their newly redesigned Click-Adjust Micrometer seating mechanism—factory installed and ready to go. If you're chasing tighter groups through better ammunition, this is the die set that lets you control the variables that matter most.
The core advantage of Match Grade dies lies in their interchangeable self-centering neck sizing bushings. Unlike standard dies that can over-resize case necks and work-harden your brass prematurely, these bushings let you dial in the exact neck tension your 6mm GT rounds require. Proper neck tension translates directly to improved bullet-to-bore alignment and more consistent velocities—the kind of precision that shows up in smaller groups downrange. Whether you're loading for competition, long-range hunting, or serious accuracy work, controlling this variable is non-negotiable.
The Click-Adjust Micrometer seating die represents Hornady's latest refinement in bullet seating technology. The click-adjustable design eliminates guesswork and lets you make fine corrections without breaking down the die, saving time between load development sessions. The set is available in configurations suited to your reloading setup, and the interchangeable bushing system means you can fine-tune the sizing process for your specific brass and powder charge combination.
This is a complete die set for the 6mm GT cartridge, so you have everything needed to move from fired brass through a finished round. Match Grade dies are a step up in manufacturing precision and functionality—they're popular with handloaders who understand that case prep and consistency are where accuracy is actually built.
| Brand | Hornady |
| Product Line | Match Grade Dies |
| Caliber | 6mm GT |
| Bushing Diameter | .243" |
| Micrometer Type | Click-Adjust (factory installed) |
| Compatible Bushing Style | Interchangeable, self-centering |
Match Grade dies use interchangeable self-centering neck sizing bushings instead of a fixed die throat. This lets you control how much you size the case neck, preventing over-sizing that work-hardens brass and reduces its useful life. The tighter tolerances throughout the die set also help produce more consistent ammunition, which shows up as tighter groups and more stable velocities.
The Click-Adjust Micrometer is an advancement in seating die design that lets you make precise, repeatable adjustments to bullet seating depth without removing the die from your press. This 2025 version comes factory installed on this set, saving you assembly time and ensuring accurate clicks from the start.
The facts provided don't specify which bushings are included with this set. Contact Bosque Outdoors for details on what's included and what additional bushing options are available for your reloading needs.
Match Grade dies are designed for reloaders who are committed to precision and understand the value of fine-tuning neck tension. They're most popular with experienced handloaders and competition shooters, though any serious reloader looking to improve ammunition consistency will benefit from the technology.
