Hornady
The Hornady Match Grade Bushing .366" is a precision neck sizing bushing designed for reloaders who use Hornady Match Grade dies and demand tight control over case neck tension. This interchangeable bushing lets you dial in exactly how much grip your case neck exerts on the bullet, eliminating the guesswork and brass fatigue that comes from over-sizing. The .366" bushing works with both Match Grade full length and neck sizing dies, making it a core component for building consistent, high-quality rifle ammunition.
Reloaders often struggle with case neck sizing: go too tight and you overwork the brass and shorten case life; go too loose and you lose the consistency that matters for precision shooting. Hornady's bushing system solves this by offering sizing dies with interchangeable bushings available in .002" increments. This .366" bushing pairs with Match Grade dies that feature a self-centering decap spindle with an o-ring spindle tensioner, ensuring repeatable results on every press stroke. The elliptical expander ball and headed decap pin (the same design found in Hornady Custom Grade dies) round out a reloading die system built for accuracy and durability.
Whether you're preparing match ammunition for a precision rifle or simply refining your handload process, this bushing represents the kind of attention to detail that separates good ammunition from ammunition that truly performs. It's a straightforward upgrade for anyone already invested in Hornady Match Grade equipment—or a reason to consider the system if you haven't yet.
| Brand | Hornady |
| Product Type | Neck Sizing Bushing |
| Bushing Size | .366 inch |
| Bushing Increment | Available in .002 inch increments |
| Compatibility | Hornady Match Grade Dies (Full Length and Neck Sizing) |
The Hornady Match Grade Bushing .366" is designed for use with Hornady Match Grade dies. It works with both the full length die (which sizes case body, bumps shoulder, and sizes neck) and the neck die (which sizes only the neck and bumps shoulder). The bushing is self-centering within these dies for consistent neck sizing.
The bushing allows you to select your desired amount of bullet tension by choosing the appropriate bushing size. Because bushings are available in .002 inch increments, you can fine-tune neck tension without over-sizing your brass. This precision reduces case neck work-hardening and extends case life while maintaining the consistency needed for accurate shooting.
The .366" bushing is an interchangeable component designed to work with Hornady Match Grade dies—it is not a complete die by itself. You will need a Hornady Match Grade Full Length Die or Neck Die to use this bushing.
Match Grade dies with bushing systems allow you to control case neck tension precisely without having to resize the entire neck uniformly. The self-centering decap spindle with o-ring tensioner, combined with the elliptical expander ball and headed decap pin, ensures repeatability and reliability shot after shot.
