The Hornady Lock-N-Load Classic Single Stage Press Deluxe Kit is a comprehensive reloading system built for shooters who want one complete setup to start handloading precision ammunition right away. This kit brings together Hornady's proven single-stage press technology with all the essential tools, accessories, and reference materials you need to reload rifle and pistol ammunition safely and consistently. If you're new to reloading or upgrading from a basic press, the Deluxe Kit eliminates the guesswork of buying pieces separately.

At the heart of the system is Hornady's Lock-N-Load Classic press, engineered around a rigid, angled frame that gives you comfortable access to cases while maintaining the precision alignment critical for consistent ammunition. The press features Hornady's proprietary Lock-N-Load technology—a quick-change die bushing system that lets you seat dies once, lock them in, and swap calibers in seconds without losing your settings. No need to reset dies or buy multiple presses; your dies stay perfectly positioned in their bushings, ready to go. The automatic priming system removes the tedium from priming, while CNC-machined die and ram openings ensure your cases stay properly aligned with dies throughout the loading cycle.

The Deluxe Kit includes a digital powder scale, powder measure with stand, handheld priming tool, universal reloading block, primer catcher, kinetic bullet puller, Lock-N-Load OAL gauge, three die bushings, Sure-Loc lock rings, shellholders, chamfering and deburring tool, powder trickler and funnel, One Shot case lube, calipers, and the Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading. Everything you see in the kit description ships in the box—no surprises, no major purchases needed to start loading quality ammunition.

Hornady designed this press for reloaders who value durability, speed, and accuracy without sacrificing ease of use. The strong frame and precision machining mean your loads remain consistent batch after batch, and the modular Lock-N-Load system grows with you as you expand into new calibers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reload different calibers with one press?

Yes. The Lock-N-Load die bushing system lets you seat dies in bushings, lock them in place, and keep them configured for different calibers. You install the appropriate bushing into the press for the caliber you're loading, and your dies stay set exactly as you left them. This means one press can handle multiple calibers without resetting dies each time.

What calibers can I reload with this kit?

The Hornady Handbook of Cartridge Reloading included in the kit covers the cartridges supported by Hornady reloading dies. The press itself is universal and compatible with standard reloading dies and components.
