Hornady
The Hornady Custom Grade New Dimension Series IV rifle 2-die set for .25 WSSM gives handloaders the precision tooling needed to load this specialized wildcat cartridge. Built on Hornady's proven Custom Grade platform, this set combines straightforward functionality with the attention to detail that serious reloaders expect. Whether you're working up loads for a custom .25 WSSM rifle or fine-tuning ammunition for consistent performance, this two-die configuration handles the essential steps: full-length sizing and bullet seating.
Hornady's Custom Grade dies are hand-inspected and heat-treated steel, then hand-polished to a mirror finish that protects your brass from scratches and scoring. The full-length sizer die features a polished elliptical expander that reduces friction and minimizes case-neck stretching—critical when working with precision wildcat brass. The seating die incorporates a sliding in-line seating system that vertically aligns each bullet with the case neck, promoting straight, consistent seating from round to round. A built-in crimp function means you can apply crimp force without purchasing a separate die.
Setup and adjustment are straightforward. The Zip-Spindle design eliminates spindle wobble and ensures perfect alignment, while Sure-Loc rings let you dial in fine adjustments without slipping. A wear-resistant all-steel seating screw with compression washer provides smooth, precise depth control. The included storage box keeps your adjusted dies organized and protected between sessions.
The Series IV designation signals this die set is engineered for specialty and wildcat calibers like the .25 WSSM, so you get the exact specifications this cartridge demands rather than generic compromises.
