The Hornady Rapid Safe 2600KP is a compact RFID handgun safe designed for quick, secure access when it matters most. If you keep a defensive firearm at your bedside, in your office, or anywhere you need responsible fast access without compromise, this steel safe combines multiple entry methods with child-resistant security and 24/7 readiness. At just 10.7" × 8.7" × 2.9", it's sized to hold a single handgun while staying discreet on nightstands, desks, or in vehicles.
Three independent access methods give you flexibility: tap the included RFID wristband or key fob over the reader for hands-free entry in the dark, punch in your access code on the keypad if you prefer a PIN, or use the mechanical key lock as a backup. The safe runs on standard 110V household power with battery backup capability, so your gun stays accessible and protected around the clock. Inside, the removable rapid sleeve presents your handgun at a ready angle and accommodates pistols up to 4" barrel length or 2" revolvers, giving you some flexibility in what you store.
Built from steel with a black finish, the 2600KP is engineered for durability and is backed by Hornady's reputation for firearms security products. The egg-crate foam interior cushions your firearm while you access it. Everything you need is in the box: wall power supply, RFID wristband, key fob, two barrel keys, security cable, and adhesive identification stickers.
