If you're building accurate 22 Creedmoor handloads, brass quality is where precision starts. Hornady 8619 unprimed 22 Creedmoor rifle brass cases give you the foundation that separates good reloads from great ones. These cases are manufactured to tight tolerances on both wall concentricity and case-wall thickness—two critical dimensions that determine how consistently your bullets seat, how cleanly they chamber, and ultimately how uniform your velocities and impacts will be downrange.

Hornady's QC process ensures that case-to-case variation is minimal, so whether you're working from lot one or lot twenty, your brass behaves the same way on the sizing die, the loading press, and in the chamber. That consistency translates to tighter groups and more predictable performance, especially valuable when you're chasing long-range accuracy with the 22 Creedmoor. These unprimed cases are sold ready for your primer pocket, and they're built to handle multiple reloadings, so your initial investment in brass compounds over time.

Whether you're a competitive shooter dialing in load development, a precision hunting reloader, or someone building match-grade ammunition, starting with uniform brass eliminates one variable from an equation that demands precision. The 22 Creedmoor has earned its reputation as a flat-shooting, accurate cartridge—Hornady brass helps you deliver on that promise.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's included—do these cases come primed?

No, these are unprimed cases. You'll need to seat your own primers during the reloading process. This gives you the flexibility to choose the primer type and brand that works best for your load and firearm.

Are these 22 Creedmoor cases good for precision rifle or long-range hunting?

Yes. The tight concentricity and consistent wall thickness are engineered for the kind of precision the 22 Creedmoor was designed to deliver. They're well-suited for both competitive precision shooting and long-range hunting applications where consistency matters.

How many times can I reload these cases?

Hornady brass is built for multiple reloads. The exact number depends on your load data, firing pressures, and maintenance practices, but quality brass like this typically delivers 8–10+ reloads per case before showing significant wear.

Do the cases vary from one lot to another?

Hornady's strict QC controls ensure that each case is held to the same specifications regardless of production lot, so you can expect consistent performance across batches.
