The Hornady 305071 30-caliber .308 168-grain hollow point boat tail rifle bullets are match-grade reloading components built for precision shooters who demand consistency at the range or in competition. This bulk offering delivers six 500-count boxes (3,000 rounds total per case) from small production batches, giving high-volume reloaders the uniformity and availability that serious competition demands without the price tag of premium alternatives.

These .308 hollow point boat tail projectiles use a widely recognized profile—one that's proven across the industry—so you won't need to rework your load data, adjust your dies, or recalculate your ballistic solver. Drop them into your reloading setup and go to work. The small-batch production approach means each box of 500 is drawn from tightly controlled manufacturing runs, which translates to shot-to-shot consistency that separates winners from also-rans on the firing line.

Whether you're handloading for a match rifle, a tactical build, or a hunting rifle that demands sub-MOA accuracy, these 168-grain projectiles give you the performance of premium match bullets at a price that lets you shoot more and reload longer. The hollow point boat tail design delivers the ballistic efficiency competitive shooters expect, while the 500-count box format keeps your reloading workflow streamlined and your inventory organized.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need to change my load data for these Hornady match bullets?

No. These bullets use a standard match profile, so your existing load data, die settings, and ballistic solver information remain unchanged—you can begin reloading immediately without recalculation.

What's included in a case, and how are the bullets packaged?

Each case contains six boxes of 500 rounds each (3,000 bullets total). The bullets are packaged from small production batches to ensure consistency and quality control across the entire case.

Are these bullets suitable for competitive shooting and long-range hunting?

Yes. The 168-grain 30-caliber hollow point boat tail profile is match-proven and designed for both competitive riflemen and precision hunters who require accuracy and ballistic efficiency.

Why buy a full case instead of individual boxes?

A full case (six 500-count boxes) is tailored for high-volume shooters and reloaders. The small-batch production system means all 3,000 rounds in a case share the same manufacturing run, maximizing consistency across your entire supply and reducing the hassle of ordering multiple smaller quantities.
