The Hogue Grips Ruger 10/22 Takedown Stock is a thumbhole-design replacement stock built specifically for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown platform. If you've picked up a takedown 10/22 and found the factory stock underwhelming, this tactical thumbhole option gives you a modern grip design with genuine ergonomic and functional upgrades that make a difference on the range or in the field.
The thumbhole grip geometry and integrated pistol grip are engineered around quick target acquisition—whether you're setting up behind an optic or transitioning between positions. A built-in cheek weld helps you find a repeatable sight picture, and the bench rest hook at the front of the forend provides a reference point for rest shooting and load development. The entire stock is molded from Hogue's proprietary OverMolded rubber compound, a material that handles recoil impulse effectively while staying grippy and comfortable in your hands. Unlike synthetic stocks that can feel slick or cold, the rubber absorbs moisture and sweat, and it won't pick up or hold grime the way some forends do.
This is a purpose-built takedown stock, so if you own a Ruger 10/22 Takedown, compatibility is straightforward. It's a solid upgrade for shooters who want a more modern, ergonomic platform without replacing the entire rifle.

Yes, this stock is designed specifically for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown platform. If you have the standard 10/22 (not the takedown model), this stock will not be compatible.
Absolutely. The integrated cheek weld is specifically designed to help you achieve a consistent sight picture when shooting with optics, making it particularly well-suited for scoped or red dot setups.
The bench rest hook integrated into the forend provides a reference point for rest shooting, making this an effective platform for load development, target practice, and precision work at the bench.
The OverMolded rubber is impervious to moisture, dirt, and grime, so it won't degrade or become slippery in wet conditions or when exposed to outdoor elements.
