Hogue
The Hogue 34039 Compound is a double-action OTF knife built for users who want speed, control, and reliability in a compact package. This out-of-the-front automatic features a 3.5" clip point blade in CPM S30V stainless steel—a premium material that holds an edge and resists corrosion far better than common stainless grades. At 3.6 ounces with an overall length of 8.4" when extended, it's light enough for daily carry without bulk, yet substantial enough to handle serious work. Whether you're in the field, at the range, or managing everyday tasks, this knife delivers the kind of performance that justifies its reputation among serious knife users.
The action is where this knife really shines. Double-action deployment and retraction means the ambidextrous trigger fires the blade out and retracts it with equal speed—no fumbling with locks or manual closes. The deep carry pocket clip works right or left-handed, tip-down carry, so you can set it up however feels natural. The handle is built tough: G-Mascus black G10 exterior wraps around a hard-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum chassis that won't flex or rattle. That glow rhino tritium-infused trigger? It's visible in low light without batteries, so you won't lose sight of your deployment point in the dark.
Hogue finished the blade with a stone tumbled surface and hand-sharpened edge, then cryogenically heat-treated the CPM S30V to 58-61 HRC hardness—the kind of edge preparation that cuts cleanly and holds up to real use. The 0.125" blade thickness gives you the flex and bite you want without sacrificing durability. This is a knife that works as hard as you do.
