Hogue
The Hogue 17958 Wrapter is a slim, adhesive-backed rubber grip wrap engineered for the Heckler & Koch VP9 and VP40 pistols running the medium grip module. Built from Hogue's signature rubberized material with a block texture pattern, this wrap adds tactile control and a premium feel to your duty or carry gun without substantially thickening the grip. At roughly 30% thinner than a standard credit card, it layers smoothly under your palm and fingers, conforming closely to the frame's natural geometry for a custom-like fit out of the box.
If you shoot an HK VP9 or VP40 and find the factory grip slick or uncomfortable during extended range sessions or defensive practice, this wrap fills that gap without the bulk or permanent modification. The multi-piece design ensures coverage across the frontstrap, sides, and backstrap, so you get consistent grip texture where it matters. Because Hogue includes leftover material, you can trim or apply it to other small areas of the gun—trigger guard, magwell—or save it for future projects.
Installation is straightforward: clean the frame, peel and stick. No tools, no guesswork. The adhesive holds through thousands of rounds and routine cleaning, and it can be removed without residue if you swap guns or change your mind. For shooters who prefer a slim grip enhancement over full-profile grip sleeves, the Wrapter delivers understated ergonomics and texture in one affordable package.
